Cloud table: you choose the height to fit the child, not an average

The height is chosen at the point of order

This is what matters most. Children's furniture is matched to stature: too high and the child sits with raised shoulders, too low and they hunch over the top. Either way the session ends in fatigue sooner than it should.

Five steps of three centimetres cover the range from nursery through to primary school.

Before ordering, check that the child's feet rest on the floor and their forearms lie on the top without lifting the shoulders.

The clouds join together

The wavy edge is not only a shape. Two tables form a long wave, four a closed group, six a zone along a wall. A second table bought a year later extends the same system rather than standing apart from it.

Materials, each where it belongs

Top — moisture-resistant plywood of the highest grade. Plywood is more stable than solid timber across a large surface and will not warp with changes in humidity.

Legs — solid beech. Beech is harder than most species and holds the fixing threads securely, and the legs carry all the load.

Protective pads on the feet keep the floor free of scratches.

Finish — safe water-based lacquer or paint, solvent-free and able to withstand damp cleaning.

Nine colourways. For a specialist's room or sensory space choose natural or the quieter combinations; for a play group the colours lift the mood.
