Connect 4 L SK: a deeper worktop and a left-hand configuration built for a specific wall

Connect 4 L SK is a contemporary writing and computer desk by the Ukrainian manufacturer Intarsio. It is a model for people who work at a desk every day and care less about decorative detail than about working geometry: 130 cm wide, 62 cm deep, and 78.6 cm high.

Why a 62 cm depth matters

The difference between 58 and 62 centimetres looks trivial on paper only. In practice, those four centimetres are what let you place a monitor at a comfortable viewing distance — roughly an arm's length, as recommended for prolonged screen work — while keeping a free strip in front of you for a keyboard, notebook or documents. On a shallow desk the monitor has to move closer, and the workstation becomes a compromise.

Left-hand configuration (L)

The model has an asymmetric structure in a left-hand version. This is a question of layout, not taste: the left configuration is positioned so that the supporting section sits to the user's left — matched to a particular wall, window or corner. Before ordering, stand where the user will sit and check which side the support belongs on. If you need the mirrored solution, choose the right-hand modification.

A height of 78.6 cm

This is an elevated working height, above the standard 75 cm. It suits taller users and gives more legroom, but it requires a height-adjustable chair — otherwise the shoulders rise and the forearms will not rest on the worktop at the correct angle. It is not suitable as a primary study place for primary-school children, who need furniture matched to their height group.

Material and finish

The body is made of laminated chipboard (melamine-faced particleboard), resistant to daily use, damp cleaning and stationery marks. The finish combines the warm wood tone Cremona Cotta Oak with neutral Stone Beige — a calm, low-contrast pairing. Such surfaces do not create visual noise, which matters both for long working sessions and for rooms serving people sensitive to visual load.

Assembly and packaging

The desk is supplied in its original factory packaging with detailed instructions and a complete set of fittings — it assembles independently, without special tools.
