Six animal pouffes: seats a child moves without help

A set of six soft animal-shaped seats: frog, cow, tiger, pig, fox and dog. Each 40 × 40 × 24 cm; the set weighs 7 kg.

The point is that the child moves them. One pouffe weighs a little over a kilogram. A three-year-old can carry it where they want it. In a room where an adult arranges all the furniture, the child has no influence over the space. A seat they can move is the first object they control.

No corners. A cylinder with no sharp edges: falling onto it or tripping over it is safe.

Why it works in a setting. Six seats form a circle for group work, scatter for individual sessions, or become a jumping trail. And for shelters: light, washable, compact in storage, and they turn an empty room into a place where children can sit rather than stand.

Materials and hygiene. PVC fabric at 630 g/m² or European eco-leather. The surface does not absorb moisture or odours, does not fade, and withstands damp cleaning with disinfectants. Materials are hypoallergenic.

Filling matters. Virgin foam at 22 kg/m³ holds its shape for years. Recycled foam is cheaper but compresses faster. For institutional use we recommend virgin foam.

Before you order

The 24 cm height suits children of roughly 2 to 5 years. The bright appliqué works well in a kindergarten but may overload a sensory room, where a plain version is preferable. Made to order.
